2025 Fishing Rules
- You MUST have a current membership to be on lake property. (This is for insurance purposes)
- Memberships are for those whose name is ON the membership card. No SHARING or LOANING. This will result in loss of membership.
- Only ONE(1) rod at the lake. You may bring multiple rods to park, but they MUST be left in rod holder at food stand. BJCC is NOT responsible for rods left in holder.
- Park is open DAWN to DUSK (Dusk is associated with light over the concession stand) NO FISHING when light is on.
- Each person MUST have their own stringer. NO SHARING
- All fish other than Trout MUST be RELEASED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- NO Chumming or Ice Fishing.
- Fish limit (APRIL thru SEPT.) – FOUR (4) trout per day; TWELVE (12) per week.
- Fish limit (Oct. thru February) – THREE (3) trout per day; NINE (9) per week.
- Fishing is OFF LIMITS for the month of March 2025.
- ALL fish MUST be signed out. NO EXCEPTIONS. Sign out box located on side of food stand. If you are giving your fish to another member, you must sign them out first and note that you are giving them to another member.
- All Children MUST be supervised by an adult.
- No Drugs allowed on the property; Smoking permitted but we ask that you do no litter on the property.
- NO Dogs permitted in pond. Dogs ARE permitted on trails. You MUST clean up after your dog. Exceptions for Dog Retrieval Training acceptable but must contact board for permission and additional $25 fee for card. Training can only be performed when no one is fishing in the pond.
- NO Horseback riding on the property.
- NO Littering – Help with the upkeep and beauty of the Pond.
2025 Event Rules
- Members may enter the pond area NO earlier than 2 hours prior to the start of events to place chairs and gear.
- All Members MUST sign in for events.
- All posted BJCC rules apply for the event. (See above)
- The Catfish tournament is Catch, Weigh, then Release.
- The Topton Children’s Rodeo will use Topton’s Rules.
